The story

About Cumbia Bros

Cumbia Bros started as two neighbors trading songs on a porch — one on guitar, one on accordion — and it grew into a project built entirely around that pairing. No band behind us, no backing tracks, just six strings and a bellows working together.

We record where the songs happen: rooftops, sidewalks, the plaza on a Friday night. If you've caught one of our videos, you've basically seen exactly how the music gets made.

Straw hat plays guitar. Dodger blue plays accordion. Between the two of us, that's the whole operation.
